  2. family. GordieΓÇÖs sons, Mark and Marty,
  3. played pro hockey side-by-side with
  4. their dad on the Houston Aeros of the
  5. World Hockey Association. The Howe
  6. family took the ice together on
  7. September 25, 1973. In the 1974-75
  8. season, GordieΓÇÖs youngest son, Mark,
  9. scored more goals than his dad, but
  10. Gordie won the leagueΓÇÖs MVP award.
  11. Gordie said, "It was the most joyous
  12. year in my life." Both Mark and Marty
  13. went on to follow in their fatherΓÇÖs
  14. footsteps in the NHL.
